      good times//

Under Venables early eighties and later with Gerry Francis early nineties.

A good 2 years in Division 1, play off final, then promotion

most of you are too young to remember the really good times, and I include grandad Pete in that.

That said I enjoyed the league one days, ticking of obscure ground, learning how to take defeats at places like northampton and chesterfield, characterbuilding and there was a great vibe amongst the supporters especially on the awaydays

"We're not going home" after banging in the 3rd at blackpool, macloed and langers, it doesnt get much better than that whatever league you are in.
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

For me. Paul Parker, Alan McDonald, Ferdinand, 6-1 Luton at home, Arsenal cup reply, Smashing Chelsea 4-2 and Spurs after going behind early.

Then Wegerle at Leeds, it was a shame really as we were good before the Sky coverage really kicked in. How good would it be looking forward to West Ham at home, Liverpool at home, Torres and Gerrard vs our young midfield. Having players in England reckoning.

All of this could be possible if the owners put there hands in thier pockets.

We allegedly have people on board that could arrange a car crash?

Club is a car-crash at the moment.
Lots of confusion, a few injuries, lots of pointing of fingers blaming each other and the Chief Inspector keeps getting replaced so the investigation keeps stalling or changing direction.

Oh - and the bloke that supplied all the crap cars involved is legging it to the nearest trader to buy a load more dodgy cars without MOTs at "over the odds" prices.

Some fans will for all costs see us relegated to blue square league in order to have THEIR QPR back.

one of best days ever for me personally was when we beat lootown 3-2 season they went down. that was when we had a proper atmosphere, and a proper team spirit.and 2 proper strikers who loved the club. dex n furs
