Don't think Tommy Smith is the sort of striker we need either (assuming that is where he is to play), we need someone to compliment Simpson and I don't think Smith is that player.

I think he is a great player but I agree with you tha we need a player to compliment simpson.

Could it be that the reason we are looking to loan Smith is because of the 3 club rule?

I recall numerous players playing for more than 2 clubs in a season by being on loan from their parent club to 2 others.
