      In the last 6 seasons (including the present one) he has played 35 matches. That is very little first team experience for a keeper at the age of 29.

      Nobody honestly can say how good he is unless they watch Pompey reserves. Hart didn't even pick him when at Portsmouth so why sign him now?

                    it may be due to the fact that he had the current england no1 to pick first!!!

                      So when they lost 1-0 to Man City and James was injured why did Hart pick Begovic and not Ashdown? Ashdown was on the bench but why not start him?
