First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984. -
SDC was hapless.
Vine was only going to manage part of the game -- I'm amazed he stayed on for as long as he did and he was starting to struggle.
Really showed up WHY the board should have allowed successive managers to bring in quality strikers (and I don't include SDC in that).
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########
