  • Greatest Player To Grace The Championship?

Noticed some paper talk this week of Ruben Neves being the best ever at this level. No doubt he has been good, but better than Taarabt in 2010/11?

Who else would you guys put up alongside these two?

Adel was the only player to dominate a season the way he did so the best by a long way. Shelvey was class last year for Newcastle

Although it was called Division 2 in them days, Marsh and Bowles were better than Neves.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Adel there is not even a debate. He owned the league that season, some of the best individual performances I have ever seen

QPR though not high profile so outside of the bush it’s soon forgotten

Adel for me too. Supported by a great bunch of hard working lads who enabled him to shine. Outrageous talent at this level.

He either scored or assisted around 50 goals for us when we went up. When he wasn’t scoring or creating, he made space for others because the opposition’s aim was to stop Adel. Then it’s the timing of the goals or assists......2 vs Cardiff away, winner at home against them (top of table clash), world class assist against coventry, winner away against barnsely. When we needed him to step up he did and that’s with opposition doing everything to stop him! Rúben ####ing Neves.....it’s like comparing only fools & horses to mrs Browns boys.

Look at the team Wolves have acquired to put around Neves.
I mean without in anyway demeaning our great team we picked up 2 frees from Palace, an undisc from Plymouth
                  And loan from Spurs.
Warnock used his skill and experience to put our team together, with some money, but nothing like Wolves.
Btw where's the outrage that they have ruined football?

Not a peep about them this year Dave, and expect they'll spend big this summer as well. They could be a force next season.

One of the most talented players we have had and certainly the biggest waste of a talent to go with it. Career over by the age of 23-24

Neves has 6 goals and 1 assist....Luke Freeman's got better stats than that !

Neves is not even the best player in the Championship this season let alone the best ever.

Ryan Sessegnon is by far the best player in the championship this year. and probably the best since Adel.

Pundits possibly gone down the easy route and picked him based on the worldies he's scored this season.
