If you are good enough to win promotion from the league you are in then you are good enough to go up. Next season is a different competition, the club will attract different players, will have different finances etc. The Cardiff team as it is hasn't got a prayer next year, but that's not the point - that won't be the team in the Prem. They might give Warnock a chance but even he may be replaced too.
If we got promoted we would have all of that new found money from the EPL TV and so on, we could sign all kinds of players with EPL experience because we will have money to do that again, what could possibly go wrong?

Correct. And mainly for one reason:

When do we expect a settled nucleus of players?
Out of interest, what were the results when we fielded the same team 2 games in a row ?

          Dear Mr Holloway
please do not Fu(k about with the team for the Brentford game on Saturday, Play the strongest team available, so we can give that little club down the road a good go and not lay down as we have done in recent games, the club have sold 1500 tickets on the pretence that we will go there and give it a right go, so don't mug us off and play a weakened team, these derbies mean very much to the supporters, so PLEASE PLEASE lets give it a go properly

I would hope that he isn't thinking of tinkering down there. Having you played for both sides you'd think he'd know better than anyone what this game means to the fans!

1-1 and 0-2 both away. 2-1 and 2-2 both at home.

                • So what the hell happened to 'definitely playing our best team'...

Eze and Smith both started on the bench.

                  He just cant help himself.

Suspect he'll be our first choice next season mate. No brainer really. He's good enough, we need the cash, and if we want a decent price for Smithies this is the window to do it!

                          • So resting players against Preston and losing in preparation for yesterday worked well

                            • More tinkering next week almost certainly guaranteed with Mackie and perch to be involved and defenders coming back. At least 6 changes again.
