Aston Villa are keen on a summer move for QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo.

The Australian international has had an impressive season for the Championship side and is attracting interest from elsewhere. Aston Villa have been credited with an interest as well as Premier League side Crystal Palace and Spanish La Liga outfit Malaga.

The 25-year-old is expected to be in the Australia squad heading for the Russia World Cup in the summer. He still has two years left on his contract at QPR but is expected to be the subject of interest from other clubs at the end of the season.

Massimo Luongo has played 106 times for QPR since he signed for them in 2015 from Swindon Town. He has been in fine form this season especially and has scored 6 goals so far.

He was born in Sydney but moved to England to pursue a career in football in 2011. He joined Tottenham Hotpsur but never broke into their team. He gained first-team experience during loan spells at Ipswich Town and Swindon Town.

He signed for Swindon on a permanent deal in 2013 for just £400,000 and played for them for three seasons before QPR paid £3.5 million to lure him to Loftus Road.

He is one of QPR’s key players and is one who they will not want to lose. He would be a very impressive signing by Aston Villa, who could be playing in the Premier League next season with them currently occupying one of the Play-Off places in the Championship.

Regarding Rem Oteh as a few have asked about him, although contract is up there is a clause in it giving #QPR the option to extend. So no rush from their point of view.

That’s positive news, was wondering why we hadn’t tied him up

The Queens Park Rangers midfielder is said to have a host of admirers, including Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

Eberechi Eze of QPR in action during the Sky Bet Championship match between QPR and Sunderland at Loftus Road on March 10, 2018 in London, England.

Queens Park Rangers teenager Ebere Eze now has 10 Premier League clubs watching him, including Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Sun on Sunday (April 8th, page 61).

The report claims Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City sent scouts to QPR's 4-1 win against Norwich City on Monday, in which Eze scored his second goal in 14 games since his January return from Wycombe Wanderers.

Crystal Palace and Brighton and Hove Albion are among the others said to have been present at Loftus Road (West London Sport).

QPR in race to tie down Eze?

The Daily Mirror reported last month that QPR are offering a new contract to the midfielder in a bid to 'ward off' Premier League interest.

Eze will enter the final year of his deal in July, leaving the R's at risk of losing him in a cut-price deal this summer.

The west London side know all too well that feeling, having seen Josh Bowler depart for Liverpool and Tottenham's top-flight rivals Everton in identical circumstances a year ago.

So we release the older players and lose the younger ones for peanuts. Sounds a good philosophy. Not.

Really hope we tell them all to fark off, ffs does my head in how they come sniffing, get our lads extended contracts and ignore the tw*ts, if we get rid straight away we could lose loads and whats ever the point of trying to build something special as its never going to happen if we sell everytime a player starts playing well.

Aaron Eyoma could leave Premier League giants Arsenal this summer having spent trial periods at Queens Park Rangers and Derby County, according to All Nigeria Soccer.

The 20-year-old is presently undergoing trial at Championship outfit Derby County with a view to a transfer this summer.

Aaron Eyoma was named in the starting line-up on Saturday, April 7th as The Rams U23 team were beaten 4-2 by Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League 2 Division 1, his sibling Timothy Eyoma started for the London team.

The Hale End Academy product gave a good account of himself at Hotspur Way Training Centre, setting up the second goal scored by Derby County and they were trailing by one goal when he subbed out in the 84th minute.

The fact that the Gunners have permitted Aaron Eyoma to train with Derby County suggests that he’s preparing to bid farewell to the club at the end of the 2017-2018 season.

Eyoma, who can also play at right-back, spent time training with QPR two months ago but is yet to be offered a contract by the Loftus Road club.

And it will be an interesting battle for Eyoma’s signature, because the youngster, who has progressed through Arsenal’s academy but has not managed to force his way into the first-team picture, has had trials with both Derby and QPR over the last few months.

This season, he has recorded six appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League 2.

QPR might have a rather substantial advantage, however, in that they would allow Eyoma to continue his footballing education in the capital.

isn't there some sort of rule about younger players that means they basically can't leave on a bosman unless we release them?

as far as i understand it, if we offer a new contract to an existing player under the age of 24, if the player turns the contract down to sign with someone else, then the new club has to pay us compensation decided by a panel.

i think danny ings' move to liverpool from burnley ended up costing them £6.5m, plus add-ons (+ a sell-on clause), even though he was out of contract, because he was under 24 at the time.

Bristol City, QPR, Norwich City and Reading are all interested in signing Dagenham and Redbridge forward Fejiri Okenabirhie, according to Bristol Live.

The 22-year-old has been in fine form as of late for the National League side and has been attracting a lot of interest from clubs higher up the football pyramid. He has scored 10 goals this season for the Daggers, averaging roughly a goal every three games.

He played for Arsenal at youth level but left them to join Stevenage in 2014. He only made three appearances during his time at Stevenage but gained first-team experience during loan spells at Bedford Town, Farnborough, Cambridge City and Royston Town in non-league.

He was released by Stevenage at the end of the 2014/15 season and had trials at Millwall and Barnet before signing for Harrow Borough. He impressed in his only season in the Isthmian League Premier Division scoring 10 goals before being signed by Dagenham and Redbridge after their relegation from League Two.

Okenabirhie has turned out to be an inspired piece of business by John Still. His 8 goals last season helped the Daggers get into the Play-Offs and his 10 so far in this campaign look set to make them a tidy profit in the summer.

There is now a tug of war to sign the promising forward with Bristol City, QPR, Norwich City and Reading all being credited with an interest.
