Furlong and Yun are not part of the nucleus of a winning team. I reckon its so long since we had any decent full backs at the club people have forgotten what a proper/solid defender looks like. Maybe Yun looks serviceable after chumps like Traore and Assou-Ekotu but reality is he is all over the place. As for Furlong I'll just be polite and say he's not ready yet.
More generally I'm bricking it..... We need far more than a "nucleus" to mount a 46 game assault on the Championship; we need a squad with decent cover in every position. Given we have certain areas with NO decent player at all it seems to me we need nigh on a dozen new faces to come in with half of them having to be the finished article and ready for first team action.
