If we go down, our best young players are rumoured to leave the club. The likes of Austin, Fer, Caulker, Phillips are all being monitored by Premier clubs. But we invested in these young and good players to have a good platform to build a stable team. Its the likes of SWP, Hoilett, Zamora, Krancjar, Hill that must be shipped out and replaced with similar players like those rumoured of leaving. Ok, maybe we will be in some financial trouble if we go down. But without those players, we will struggle heavily. Maybe today result will start to change this situation.

Your spot on! I think there's a balance to be had if we go down! We will need to sell a couple of players to balance the book and no one could argue if Austin moves for decent money! Also we could probably recruit a fair amount of the fer fee back but it's all about how ambitious the board want to be next year as technically we could have the following for a championship team -

Furlong
Onohua
Caulker
Yun
Philips
Doughty
Fer
Pettrasso
Reece cox
It's not a bad base to build a new team around - sell Sandro, htoilett taarabt and Traore. Would lose Isla and Vargas and obviously potentially Charlie. But next years re structure will depend what league we are in as if we stay up we need to hold on to Charlie and fer - get a new cb, rb 2 wingers, another cm and 2 strikers minimum. Not all first choice but for the squad to be competitive. -
Dont forget frankie sutherland, he made the bench today so must be looking good.Comment

Very much depends on what league we are in. I agree that we should promote our youngsters more, however, we can forget about the Premier. Look at Fulham....and they had a better academy then ours.Comment
