I honestly believe that so many of our players that play regularly are just not good enough for the premier league and that is why we are so poor away from home, and are starting to get left wanting at home as well now. Heres a list of players that i think would get nowhere near any other prem side (anyone i have not mentioned i deem good enough for the prem and other teams), even the pish poor teams like leicester and burnley etc.

Zamora - No chance.
Dunne - No chance.
Hill - No chance.
Kranjcar - No chance.
Traore - No chance.
Phillips - No chance
Henry - No chance
Hoilett - Arguable.
Vargas - Arguable
Onuoha - Arguable
Zarate - Arguable
Mutch - Arguable.


Thats only my opinion, but that is very damning for someone like me whos a happy clapper to pick out that many players from our squad who just arent good enough, and that has to lie at the hands of the manager im afraid.

There is nothing essentially wrong with our current team.
We are just not playing to our full potential due to Harry.
We need a more modern and more spirited approach.

Its a difficult one to call, Damien Delaney was discarded by us and now doing fine at Palace, Hoillet ? and Phillips, poorly coached or not good enough,I would say both are potentially better than Puncheon, another player we ditched and now doing fine in Premiership.

Vargas and Zarate would get in most bottom 8 teams, Dunne we all just wish he was younger, ditto Hill

BZ, Traore And Kranjcar totally agree not good enough. Onuhoa,had a good game against a £100 + million attack Saturday, a fairly decent Centre half but not a right back.

Mutch great season in Prem for Cardiff getting about 8 goals,not sure what we have done to him.

I think Dunnes been good as well, starting to get tired now and lets not forget we got rio in and dunne was expected to not play again, so on that basis i dont think he would of made any other eleven if he wasnt even meant to make ours. I could of added Henry as well, but left him out cos hes done so well, but i am still not certain any other prem team would buy him or play him.

Edit- on reflection i dont think henry would of got bought or a game anywhere else season start, so have edited op and added him.

What actually makes a premiership player. You have the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City who spend millions on all their players and then you have the other teams who are made up of players similar to ours. If you look at any of the teams outside of the top teams, you will find that their players on the whole are similar to ours.

Players are good before they come, we sign them and they become pub players, they leave and they're back on form again.

As I said I think it's something we're doing wrong?

We have some good players but they're always injured.

That isn't the point.
Henry would definetely get into hull's midfield or another teams near the bottom. Same goes for Dunne.
Doesn't mean they have resale value

Nobody would of taken dunne or henry on a free season start imho, so im still saying no chance.
