They were probably in the bar and took Gary Neville's word that it was a great goal, if they did see it they need white sticks, just northern bragging.

Barclay is a decent player, certainly better than anything we've got, also young and English so they are going to go overboard about his goal. Fact is it wouldn't have been a point of discussion if Barton didn't mis-place a simple 5 yard pass then compound his mistake by trying to win it in a stupid position from Barclay and leaving him loads of space to run into!
