Who went to Goodison and took points off them comfortably in comparison to us who just roll over
Discuss??
We weren't great but had absolutely no luck whatsoever, Barkley's goal was going wide without the deflection, free-kick was going to be saved by Green and took a huge deflection and Naismith's header was saved by Green and was going wide until it went into Onouha and another own goal.
Thought Phillips and Mutch were shocking though and gave us nothing.
Every away game we come away talking about lack of luck well its wearing thin now mate its a results business not a luck business
If your not getting any luck then you have to work twice as hard and not make basic errors. Barton for first goal Green for third goal are not bad luck its plain and simple poor play

True enough about the errors bud, but doesn't help when you get multiple deflections going against you.
So frustrating, and we just keep making it hard for ourselves.
barkleys goal would have probably gone in anyway , we just seem to lose our way in front of goal , we don't move the ball fwd quickly enough letting everton get their shape back , both wingers were wasteful and so much of our play breaks down with them . barton , fer and mutch are all slow and barkley and naismith seemed to glide past them at times. barton reads the game better than fer and mutch so can get away with more , an example of this in the 1st half mutch on the edge of everton box tried to walk thru 3 players as he didn't have much on and he lost the ball , he should of played it back and kept posession for his team

disagree. you give prem players acres of space just outside the box or cheap free kicks and they will score. deflections are all part of the game, putting the goal under pressure by peppering it with shots. fear some fans will still be asking when our luck is going to change when we are back in the championship...
