  • Hapless Hopeless Harry

I'm afraid his time is well and truly up now at QPR.

He needs to go ASAP and even if his replacement fails to keep us up it's finally time for QPR to start building towards the future and enough of all these short-term appointments, be they players or managers.

Tony keeps saying he wants to build the club from the bottom up starting with a proper youth academy and training ground. So it's about time he starts walking the walk on that and bring in a young, ambitious and talented manager along the lines of Howe or Robinson. If it must be survival at all costs this season then it'll have to be Pulis but just for the season because he's definitely not right for us in the long-term.

The West Ham game was so painful to watch. Removing Hoilett at HT - our only attacking threat was an inept decision. And Onuoha is NOT a RB ffs! Square pegs into round holes once again from Hapless Hopeless Harry.

The only bright spark was Taarabt and he must now start v Liverpool, ditto McCarthy as Green's now used up all his lives I'm afraid. Hopefully we'll have a new manager by then because I now believe Redknapp wouldn't have the guts nor the gumption to inspire and pick the right team.

Does anyone know why he took Hoilett off? It wasn't tactical surely because he was literally the ONLY player showing a bit of attacking intent first half. Done some impressive runs. Could t believe my ears when I heard he'd been subbed at HT

Have to agree about Pulis Stanley.

I also agree that Rob Green needs to be dropped based on recent form but I haven't given up on him. He certainly did very well for us last season and was immense in the play off final.

Possibly because Redknapp hasn't got a single ####ing clue what he's doing?

Signing a keeper for £6m and leaving him on the bench is inexplicable in itself. Continuing to do so when our current No.1 is in wretched form is simply ridiculous.

So if QPR suddenly start working, which to me is the major part of our game that is missing, and we start winning, will it still be HR out?
Oh and unless the team do start working we could have Neuer between the sticks and he will be conceding just as many.
I do think it is a good idea mind to give McCarthy a run, having said all that

You could make that argument every week Dave - it is just pie in the sky.

The Harry Out sentiment is based on what has already happened!

I have to say, I am astonished by the goings-on over the last few days. Was never a Redknapp fan as such, but would never have believed I would see quite such a turnaround in the opinions of others.

Shouldn't be surprised really because not only was he absolutely useless when we were relegated, he is even worse now and in between all this crap, he managed to guide a squad that should have walked the league into fourth place.

I think it should be acknowledged though, that despite the utter dross we have had to endure since he arrived, that in general, the support he has had from Rangers fans has on the whole been pretty good. I sincerely hope that we as a fanbase aren't categorised along with the Newcastle fans who have been making life difficult for their manager for a long time, or those Arsenal fans that complain about Wenger and only finishing in the top 4 every year.

I truly think that most of us have just had enough of poor football, poor results, poor team selection, poor tactics and poor excuses.

I can still remember chatting to Stanley in the pub last season and him saying how he liked Harry and wanted so much for him to succeed like all of us did.

                Such a shame.

I agree with Brighton. It is a shame. I like Harry. I wish him well. But he can't be our manager anymore. He'll be happier on MOTD and Talk Sport.

Done a fantastic job getting rid of a lot of rubbish but apart from that he's failed massively. Any manager with the squad he had at his disposal would of romped that league last season.

But my interest is QPR winning. I just wonder how much it's a case of Harry out at all costs.
I have posted i think he should go, but all i'm saying is if we actually played like Spurs under HR and
                      winning I'd be happy

I'm not saying Pulis is my first choice but what can't he do long-term for a club? Look at Stoke. Consolidated them as a perennial PL team, took them on decent cup runs most seasons and oversaw a grade 1 youth academy. Perplexed as to why everyone thinks Pulis is just a relegation survival specialist.

Good point .....and let's face it.....it is survival at all costs.

Quite simple. His style of play is not the QPR way and in that sense I'm a traditionalist. That's purely a personal opinion and not a criticism of his management skills and achievements.
