Fair play to West Ham, wish we had done some of the business they did last season. They had one target which was to stay up and did it well, having some absolutely blinding wins along the way.

Carrol might be a complete donkey or go on and bang in 20 goals for them, but we're in no position to comment on how other teams spend their money when you consider the absolute **** we have bought year after year after year.

We're not commenting ........I'm saying we got slaughtered in the press for spending £12mill on Samba and putting him on £100k a week, yet those same journos will be all over this lot.
Btw I don't think we bought absolute **** ....what we got was players split into 2 camps, which destroyed any chance we might have had
