It seems a very confused situation when it comes to who is going to be manager of Ivory Coast at the World Cup this summer. A few weeks ago it seemed Guus Hiddink was going to take the role, and now it seems it could be down the Sven Goran Eriksson or Bernd Schuster. Whoever takes the role faces a daunting task as they are in a group with World Cup betting favourites Brazil, the ever-dangerous Portugal and also Ivory Coast. Neither manages really have much recent international experience and they both could be a gamble, Eriksson did not impress with England or Mexico while Schuster has been out of work for over 15 months. It could be interesting to see who leads the likes of Didier Drogba and Kolo Toure to South Africa.
