    If people wish to remain hopeful and/or optimistic that is entirely their prerogative. It does not mean they are deluded, just that they have a different mentality. Not even the most optimistic posters are saying they 'expect' us to survive, but that's not to say they're not hopeful of it or even believing we MAY still do it, based on our and our neighbouring team's run-in.

  2. My QPR-supporting background

    Doubt that I would have ever come to support QPR without learning English properly. I attended an “English-biased” school but what really pushed me towards choosing to continue studying English at the university level was when the Finnish TV showed the Jeeves and Wooster series in my last two school years.   3. Cup Fever?

    A good result against Sheffield to be sure but I am not getting my hopes up too far. The last time we got to the 4th round in the FA Cup was back in the 2000-1 season where we eventually got pummelled 6-0 by Arsenal. I'll not be despondant either. Any positive result away from home has got to be good.

  4. How long since a cup run?

    Quite some time I think. With luck this will give our lads some time to forget the performances of previous league games and show us what they are really made of.
    Some passion, as shown by our current QPR Girl Melissa, will restore a little bit of faith in the fans I hope.

  5. Spirits Lifted?

    It would appear not after what seems to be a very nervous, scrappy and defensive
    win against Bristol City. Personally I would take the 3 points after our recent run
    of form and hope the entertainment value will increase with the confidence.

    I'm off to read a few match reports and hopefully get a clearer picture of what
    went on. In the meantime why don't you enjoy the latest update and be ready
    for another, soon after the Ipswich game.
