  1. If you're going to sack a manager...

FAR better to do it now than 10 games or more into a new season.

Let's review Fernandes record of QPR managers so far:

ALL of them brought in midway through seasons. Throughout his tenure it has always been this firefighting and reactive (to fan pressure) approach. Never an approach with any clear foresight, vision and informed planning. Just lurching and stumbling blind from one mess ...

  4. European Migrant Crisis

The South-East of England is absolutely chock-a-block. Its infrastructure is already at bursting point. Anyone wanting to take in any more needs to answer the questions:

    1) Where will they be housed?
    2) Where will their children be schooled?
    3) Which GP's, nurses and hospitals will attend to their medical needs?
    4) Where will they fit onto the already packed trains and buses?
    5) Where will their cars fit onto the already packed roads?

  5. UK coalition governments - just the beginning?

Our country is one of the oldest democracies in the world. Where we are still in nappies though is getting used to coalition governments. 2010 proved this a very difficult thing to adapt to. What we are going to have to get used to is hung parliaments now becoming a lot more commonplace. It's been going on in Europe for a long time so for them it's the norm.

The political climate is changing in this country with the rise in popularity of the smaller niche parties. It means it's now ...
