Taarabt. He was our only outlet and threat until Cisse came on.

I thought the whole back 4, Barton and Adel were brilliant today. Also Derry was pretty solid. Im going to give it to Joey though as he has been superb lately and got an awful lot of flack earlier in the year and think he deserves some credit.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Barton without a doubt. Superb performance.

Think as matty said back four,... nearly faultless,..... but Adel's display reminded me of his displays last season, gotta be Adel for me

Adel was magic, his first half performance was as good as i have seen for a long time. Tricks, vision, unreal player when on song.

Voted Tarbs, would've liked to have seen Morrisson in the list though! ;)

ferdinand for me, did a great job keeping crouch quite, taarabt's a great talent but i wished he,d play simple passes when the situation arises

Kept up his recent workrate too. He's matured a great deal under Hughes. Makes a mockery of Warnock's boasting that he was the only one who could manage Adel.

the big AT for me, great game , great through balls. he's been a different player since his "sabatical" at a bus stop.

Anton been playing well lately and seemed to win every header today and got the assist

Barton played good today but he did have a lot of mis placed passes
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

We needed that goal, and badly.
Who was on hand with exactly the finish we needed?
Djib, and for scoring the most important goal of our season so far, my vote for MOM goes to Cisse.
                              Take a bow, Djib.
