    Stan Bowles Day

Sorry to be positive, but another good deed by the club.

QPR TO WEAR SPECIAL CHARITY SHIRTS ON STAN BOWLES DAY Club to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Society when QPR play host to Rotherham United on Saturday 22nd August … QPR will wear special charity shirts when the R’s play host to Rotherham United at Loftus Road on Saturday 22nd August. Earlier this summer, the club confirmed plans to hold a special matchday dedicated to Stan Bowles, who has recently been diagnosed with a form of Alzheimer’s. The date coincides with the 40th anniversary of the day Rangers won 5-1 at reigning Division One champions Derby County – and Stan scored a hat-trick! Amongst other plann...

    Invite to R'Heritage launch

WATRB have received an invitation from The Octavia Foundation and QPR in the Community Trust to the following event, and we'd once again like to donate our ticket to a WATRB member.

The usual drill - a reliable and trustworthy member with 500+ posts, who would be willing to post up a report of their experience.

**NB - with the impending tube strike the date may be pushed back a week.**

"We look forward to welcoming you to this special event. The project would not be possible without the generous...

The Stan Bowles / Alzheimers Charity Bet Thread

Following the announcement of this terrible news, I am sure many of us would like to make some form of contribution to whatever initiative the club organise in this regard.
